The Mrs. Florence Elsinger

Florence B. Elsinger, age 94, of North Lake, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital in Waukesha.
Florence was born on November 14, 1930, to Walter and Irene Bull. She was united in marriage to John Elsinger on April 24, 1948. Together, they started and owned Pine's Driveway in Hartford, where they sold Christmas trees seasonally for over 30 years. They also operated the Home Dairy Farm near North Lake, raising cattle for many years until John's passing.
Florence cherished time with her family and had a special love for animals, especially her cats Sweety and, later in life, Jeffery, who brought her great comfort and companionship.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Todd) Lubbert and Gary Elsinger; her sisters, Doris Tetzlaff and Shirley Bower; grandchildren, Peter Asp and Sandi Tretow; great granddaughter, Hallee Tretow; and her cherished cat, Jeffery. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, John Elsinger; her son, Francis; her sister, Ruth Rego; her brothers, Ernie and Dick Bull; and her treasured cat, Sweety.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Florence's name may be made to the HAWS Humane Society or St. Kilian Catholic Church.
Funeral services for Florence will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford, WI 53027). Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at St. Kilian Catholic Church Cemetery, in Hartford, WI.
