Joseph G. Elsinger

Joseph G. Elsinger, 79, of Reinholds, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. Joseph was born on June 30th, 1945, in New Britian, CT to the late Joseph and Senta Elsinger. He was the loving husband to Audrey A. (Thorsson) Elsinger for over 60 years.

Joseph was a graduate of E.C. Goodwin Technical School in 1963. Joe worked as a Tool & Die Maker for many years, later bringing his family from Connecticut to Pennsylvania in 1990. A motorcycle enthusiast, Joe enjoyed racing and winning many trophies with his motorcycle. He would take Audrey on road trips on the motorcycle and joy ride in his free time. He and Audrey enjoyed raising their dogs together for many years.

Along with his wife, Joseph is survived by a son, Joseph S. Elsinger of Ephrata; brother, Robert “Bobby” Elsinger of New Britain, CT; sister-in-law, Ellie Thorsson of New Britain, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc. 34 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown (Stevens), PA 17567.
