Wayne Hines Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center on Jun. 10, 2024.
Wayne Coady Hines, 64 of Delaware Ohio, passed peacefully in his home Friday morning June 7, 2024.
Wayne was born on December 5, 1959 in Delaware Ohio to Thomas and Mary Hines. He attended Delaware city schools and worked as a farm hand tending to horses. Wayne would go on to have six children whom he was immensely proud of and considered them to be one of his greatest achievements in life along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wayne enjoyed a variety of hobbies. You could catch him primarily outdoors, collecting Native American arrow heads, fishing, camping, and of course drinking a nice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon. Wayne was fond of art as well and liked dream catchers and many Native American artworks.
Family and friends described Wayne as compassionate, stubborn, independent and a good hugger. Wayne's personality and emotions shined through by being a loving and giving person who was outgoing and loved helping other people, and who would do anything and everything for his family.
Left to cherish his memory Wayne is survived by his wonderful fiancé Dorothy Ballard; sons Wayne (Lacy) Jr, Travis, Andrew Hines, Derek Ballard; and daughters Natasha (Seth) Wallace, and Lucinda (Joe Holloway) Hines; mother Mary Nickell; grandchildren Clay Hines, Coady Hines, Kaylee Hines, Kyler Ballard, Kaiden Hines, and Nova Wallace; and great-grandchildren Lilah and Blaze.
