Wayne Michael Morgan, 71, of
Westerly, RI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was the loving husband of Anita (Pietrallo) Morgan. Born in
Westerly, RI on June 3, 1953, he is the son of the late Victor E. Morgan and Rita (Terranova) Morgan.
In the mid 80's and early 90's Wayne worked alongside his brother Vic, as co-owner of Vic Morgan & Sons Inc; and then alongside his sister Jaye and husband William, under the name Morgan & Smith. In most recent years, he serviced those in our community as the sole owner of Morgan Home Improvement. He loved working with his family and just as much loved building genuine relationships with his customers- that often turned into life-long friendships. As much as he loved helping folks achieve their home improvement goals, he took great joy in sharing his knowledge of the bible and sharing messages of hope for those that have suffered loss, or had otherwise needed an ear to listen to during hard times.
Wayne was a 3 sport varsity athlete (voted most athletic/ WHS class of '71) and went on to play 2 years of college baseball shortly after high school as well as time in the Phillies minor league system. Years later, he could be found in his driveway, playing basketball with his son and group of neighborhood kids well into the evening hours. As an avid music lover, he found great joy in playing his guitar either by himself, for his family or with friends, as well as listening to his favorite artists of his time such as The Eagles, Cat Stevens, Roy Orbison, and many others. Alongside his wife, they loved attending live shows, enjoying company by their pool, going to breakfast and sharing moments of laughter with family and close friends. He firmly believed and stated often, that laughter is the best medicine.
Besides his loving wife Anita, he leaves his daughter Kimberly Morgan; son Brent Morgan & wife-to-be Kristen Kimery; sister Patricia (Morgan) & husband Michael Burns; sister Donna (Morgan) Donahue; sister in law Donna (Peitrallo) Morrone and husband Tommy; sister in law Gina (Pietrallo) Pappadia and husband John,; sister in law Connie (Pietrallo) Gallo and husband Joseph; brother in law Eric Dessaules Sr & Marlene Fortunado; sister in law Beverly Hudon-Pietrallo; sister in law Betsy Morgan, of Florida brother in law Norman Langlois & Dodie Ladd; brother in law William Smith & wife Barbara all of
Westerly, RI. He also leaves behind several aunts & uncles as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends all of whom loved him dearly and were present in his life closely during his final months, until passing.

Morgan; brother Ken Morgan; sister Jaye (Morgan) Smith; sister in law Linda (Pietrallo) Dessaules; sister in law Patricia (Pietrallo) Simpson & husband Louis; brother in law Lawrence Peitrallo; brother in law Richard Pietrallo; brother in law John Donahue; His mother in law Constance (Coleman) Pietrallo and father in law Peter Pietrallo of Westerly and last but not least his beloved pitbull Lilly.
