Joan [aka Jody] Falconer

Wayne was my supervisor when I took up my position as Head of the Rita Benton Music Library in 1985, and was a tower of strength to me and other branch librarians during those years of staff shortages and budget shortfalls. I still have the letter he wrote me when I retired in 2000 and shall treasure it the rest of my life. His late wife Janet introduced me to the Chamber Singers of Iowa City, which became my port-in-storm during those difficult years. I treasure the memory of both Wayne and Janet.
