Wichita, Kansas - Wayne Edward Rogers, 78, Retired Tool and Dye Engineer, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, October 7, 2024, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Northside Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Rogers; mother, Odell (Dick) Hudson; wife, Sherla Rogers; brother, Jerry Lee Rogers; father-in-law, Claude Engelke. Survived by his son, Matthew "Matt" Rogers; daughter, Andrea (Jeff) Walters; grandchildren, Kourtney Rogers, Mattie and Harper Walters; brother, Bill (Kim) Rogers; mother-in-law, Elsie Engelke; brother-in-law, Dick Spillane and other extended family.
