Wendell Doy Coffman

Wendell Doy Coffman, 84, of Hopper, AR, passed away March 25, 2025, at the Montgomery County Nursing Home with family surrounding him. Wendell was born August 15, 1940, in Hopper, AR, to Joseph Austin and Edith Irene (Herring) Coffman. He is preceded in death by both his parents, sister’s Emma Lucille, Barbara Jean, brother Boyd and daughter in law Sherri Coffman.

Wendell served his country in the Navy and was a Mason as well.

Wendell is survived by his wife Margaret (Jackson) Coffman, sons Travis Fane Coffman, Monty Shane Coffman and wife Julie Anna Coffman, daughters Sheila Renee Walker, Charissa Rae Avila, grandchildren Coleby Austin Walker, Zachary Cheyne Walker, Monty Roan Coffman and wife Taylor Denae’ (Stovall) Coffman, Gustus Wyatt Coffman, Alexandria Jade Avila, Nicholas Roger Wendell Avila and wife Bailey, Yancey Fane Coffman, Kennedy Mary Margaret Avila, Nina-Rhea Marie Coffman, great grandchildren Annalise Margaret Avila, Jonathan Charles Avila, sister in laws Jeanne Smith and Sue Smith, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends and his mules.

Laid to rest at Hopper Cemetery the evening of March 25, 2025, in Hopper, AR.
