Had I known before yesterday (27th) I'd have been there! I saw Wendell before Christmas, at the Elm Tree Diner in Houlton and we had a great visit. I shall be grateful for that.

Wendell and Marie will always be remembered by the skiers. The recreation program at the mountain enhanced so many young people's lives who would have never been able to learn and enjoy the sport. Wendell made it affordable. Our children, Gary and Darren spent some of their happiest hours at the mountain. He will be missed.

Uncle Wendell You will be greatly missed. I remember many long winters helping out at the Hill . You and A. Marie were always the best.

I'm very saddened to hear of Wendell's passing. He & Marie were very close to our family as Marie worked at Bradbury Barrel for many years. I have countless childhood memories of him fitting Wayne and I with ski equipment year after year as we grew. He always made sure we were well taken care of!
May he & Marie be reunited with one another and rest happily together in all eternity.
My deepest condolences to all his grandchildren that I grew up knowing so well.
