She was born May 13, 1964, in Willoughby.
Wendy was the beloved wife of Steven J. Brest; loving mother of Christopher (Jessica Pizzi) Yeray and Ryan (Heather Seeley) Schmitt; step-mother of Joshua Brest; cherished grandmother of Adalynn Pizzi; sister of Terry (Sonny) Shingledecker, Andrew Brackman and David (Candice) Brackman; dear friend of Carol Bean; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Steven Venchiarutti; parents, Martin B. and Dorothy (nee Smith) Brackman; brother, Robert Brackman; and step-father, Lloyd Cross.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor, with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.
