Wendy Gaye Gordon, born on February 27, 1959, in Salem, Oregon, peacefully passed away on January 10, 2024, in Turner, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved daughter of Marilyn Brown and Keith Nelson, and she shared her upbringing with her sister, Lisa.
Wendy's educational journey led her to Cascade High School, where she graduated in 1977. On September 4, 1977, she embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship, marrying Larry Gordon in Carson City, Nevada. Together, they were blessed with two children, Michael and Aimee, who brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment to their lives.
Family was at the center of Wendy's world, and she found her greatest joy in being a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. The arrival of grandchildren-Teagan, Rylee, Mason, and Kaden-brought an extra layer of happiness and warmth to her life.
Beyond her roles within the family, Wendy had a successful career with Kimberly Clark, where she served as a dedicated merchandiser and sales representative. Her work ethic and commitment were evident throughout her professional life.
Wendy's journey took her to various places, including San Jose, California, from 1976 to 1978, Salem/Keizer from 1978 to 2006, and Turner from 2006 until her passing. Each location holds memories of a life well-lived, marked by love, laughter, and cherished moments.
In honoring Wendy's memory, the family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made in her name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Wendy faced life's challenges with strength and resilience, and supporting this cause reflects her compassionate spirit.
Wendy is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Gordon; loving son, Michael Gordon; cherished daughter, Aimee Farrell; adored grandchildren, Teagan, Rylee, Mason, and Kaden; and her dear sister, Lisa Clayton. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

Dear Wendy,
We met as tiny children, and I´m so glad to have found you again through Aimee and to know that you had a loving family and a good life through all these years.

Your dear ones miss you, but it is a blessing to know that your body is strong and whole again and you are in the arms of our Savior.

With Love,
