Wesley E. Bennett, 79, of Janesville passed away peacefully at Evansville Manor on October 15, 2025 following a long illness. Wesley was born on October 05, 1946 to David and Loma (Kitchen) Dooley in Alabama. He married Linda Garetson on April 19, 2008 at their home in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Wesley worked as a machinist for several places in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. He finished his career with Best Medical Company.
Wesley was one who valued solitude and family. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife and caretaker, Linda; his children, Michael Bennett, Wesley Robert Bennett and Dawn (John) Upp; his stepchildren, Patrick (Ann) Brown and Marilyn (Scott) Mullikin; as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wesley is also survived by his brother, Lloyd (Liz) Dooley; his cousin, Roberta (Gary) Groce: and his brother in law, Peter (Debra) Garetson.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David.
A Private Celebration of Life is being planned.
