Wesley Robert Nelson of House Springs, Missouri, was born December 15, 1993 in Creve Coeur, Missouri to Henry and Joyce (nee Schneider) Nelson and entered into rest Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in House Springs, Missouri at the age of 31 years.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Genevieve Schneider, and his paternal grandparents, Henry Obie and Norma Lee Nelson; nieces, Amylia Rayne Nelson-Tatum and Lily Jayne Nelson-Moore.
He is survived by his parents, Henry and Joyce (nee Schneider) Nelson; sister, Amy (Brian Moore) Nelson; niece and nephew, Jayda Nelson and Finlee Nelson-Moore; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Wes was a beloved son, brother, and uncle who was a proud Northwest High School graduate, class of 2012. He loved animals, especially his late dog Lucy, and enjoyed staying active through weightlifting. Wes had a passion for bartending and enjoyed spending time playing video games. His kind, caring, and fun-loving nature will always be remembered.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Wes to Open Door Animal Sanctuary (https://odas.org/donate/) and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (https://www.NAMI.org/get-involved/donate-to-NAMI/).
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016.
