W.G. Peterman Obituary

Born, August 25, 1928, at Bearden, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Clarence Peterman and Sarah Martenz Peterman.
A 1947 graduate of Bearden High School, W.G., was employed by Gaylord Paper Mill for 36 years, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and of Temple Baptist at El Dorado after remarrying and relocating in 2003.
In addition to his parents, W.G. was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Ima Jean May Peterman; and three sisters, Lilly Ross, Opal Lindsey & Martha Sheffield.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sue Molnaird McCann Peterman, to whom he was married in June of 2003; children, W.G. Peterman, Jr. (Nancy), Glenda Earnest (Gene), Roxane Hale, Andy Peterman (Samantha), Jane Mason & Kenny Brumley; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family & friends.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 11, 2025, 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son followed by burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens at Pine Bluff.
The family will receive guests prior to services starting at 1:00 p.m.
