Skip is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol Kiszkiel Luf, and their sons, Keith Luf and wife Marie Lamont, Douglas Luf and wife Kathleen Gillis, as well as their five grandchildren Max, Linus, Otto, Greta, and Gus. He is also survived by his brother Charles (Chuck) Luf and his wife Gail, and his twin cousins Barbara Chernauskas of Oakville, CT and Beverly Quatrano of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was employed as a production manager at Churchill Business Forms in Newtown, CT for 36 years, followed by several years at Quebecor in Brookfield, CT until his retirement.
Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, following the stock market, and cheering on the New York Yankees and the UCONN women's basketball team. He was honored with a Lifetime Membership to the Newtown Fish and Game Club. He joined the club at age 16 and served in a variety of leadership roles, including Fish Chairman, for many years. He had a great appreciation for the outdoors, rivaled only by his appreciation for good food. Skip was at his happiest when he was with his family, most especially his grandchildren.
