Rev. Wilburn W. "Will" Clonts, age 80, of Rome, GA, received his eternal healing on Friday, August 15, 2025, at a local hospital.

Rev. Clonts was born in Rome, GA, on August 22, 1944, son of the late Rev. Hoke Smith Clonts and the late Beatrice Virginia Hammonds Clonts. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Lawson Stanfield, and by a brother, Tommy Clonts. Mr. Clonts was a graduate of East Rome High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from Shorter College. He owned and operated Landmark Motors on Shorter Ave. for numerous years before receiving his call to ministry while visiting North Rome Church of God. He served as the Associate Pastor at Lindale Church of God for over 17 years before being called to the Pastoral Care Ministry at North Rome Church of God. Rev. Clonts also served as the Chaplain for Tapestry Hospice for a number of years. He was a member of the Rome Masonic Lodge # 79 and a faithful member of North Rome Church of God.

Rev. Clonts loved hunting, preaching, and his family. His family was his greatest gift on this side of Heaven, and cherished every second spent with them. Above all, he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After receiving Christ as his Savior, Rev. Clonts devoted every second to spreading the good news of the Gospel and ministering to those who needed saving. He healed numerous people in the name of Jesus and was quick to tell you that he was the only the vessel which God used to show His power. Even through sickness, Rev. Clonts spread the name of Jesus and constantly prayed for those in any doctor's office he visited. There is no doubt, today, he is sitting at the feet of Jesus and praising His name for eternity.

Survivors include his wife of over 62 years, Jeannie Clonts, Rome; 2 children, DeWayne Clonts and Kim Cole (Gary), both of Rome; 2 grandchildren, Breanna Mae Cole Stanfield (Evan), and Hunter Lee Cole; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryker Buchanan and Eleanora Mae Stanfield; his brother, Rev. Glenn Clonts (Diane); nieces and nephews also survivors.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at North Rome Church of God, with the Rev. Terry Addis and his brother, Rev. Glenn Clonts, officiating and his longtime friend, Wayne Lester, delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12pm until 1:45pm at North Rome Church of God.

Pallbearers are to assemble by 1:30pm on Tuesday at North Rome Church of God and include: Active, DeWayne Clonts, Kim Cole, Gary Cole, Hunter Cole, Evan Stanfield, Rev.
