Wilburn Keene Obituary
Wilburn was born on November 4, 1944, in English, West Virginia, a son of the late Preston and Nora Joyce Keene.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Winfred Keene, and his sister, Linda Jenks.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers: Freddie Keene and wife Rosie of Bartley, WV, Sam Keene and wife Barbara of War, WV, Ralph Keene and wife Kay of Olive Hill, KY, and Perry Keene of Virginia. He is also survived by his devoted caregiver, Juanita Green.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Charles "Tad Pole" Golden, Shootie Sparks, Logan Viars, and Frederick Keene for their help and kindness in digging the grave.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Dunford Cemetery in Bartley, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Wilburn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Fanning Funeral Home in Welch is serving the Keene Family.
