Wiley Terrell "Terry" Kikta

Wiley "Terry" Terrell Kikta, age 77, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Fort Meade, Florida with family. He was born January 6, 1946 in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Joseph and Maude (Anderson) Kikta. He grew up in Waverly, FL and lived the majority of his life in Babson Park, FL. While attending Lake Wales High School Terry was a multi-sport athlete. He played baseball, basketball, and excelled at football. After high school he joined the U.S. Army, serving time in Germany. When Terry returned, he became a long time employee of G.T.E. in the Lake Wales area. He was an avid hunter and fisher. He loved doing those activities with his boys and grandchildren. Terry is survived by the Love of his life – Sandra Robinson; Sons – Blair Kikta of Lake Wales, FL; Alex Kikta (Kelsey) of Ft. Meade, FL; Garrett Kikta of Arkansas; Extended Son – David Core (Brooke) of Winter Haven, FL; Brother – Kenneth Kikta (Janyce) of Tarpon Springs, FL; Sister – Fran Schall (Loren) of Ft. Collins, CO; eight Grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother – Ronald Kikta. Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00pm at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with family receiving friends beginning at 1:00pm. Following services there will be a gathering at The Babson Park Woman's Club for friends and family.
