Willa Marbrey Obituary
Born Monday, December 31, 1945 in Big Sandy, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late L. M. Earp and the late Madlean Robbins Earp.Mrs. Marbrey was a homemaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marbrey will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Dana Woods (Kevin) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Donna Vaughn (Guy Emery) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Kevin Marbrey (Jaida Strait) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Lois Jernigan of Hollow Rock, Tennessee and Ruth Rice Combs (James) of Newbern, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Casey Simpson (Scotty), Randall Vaughn (Jessica), Ashleigh Marbrey, Haley Marbrey and Ethan Woods and eleven great-grandchildren, Makayla Simpson, Kylie Simpson, Alexis Marbrey, Aliyah Marbrey, Aden Morgan, Halle Hayes, A. J. Long, Adelyn Long, Easton Powell, Kaylee Vaughn and Jace Vaughn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Ray Marbrey; three brothers, Stanford Earp, Stanley Earp and Lindell Earp and one sister, Carolyn Reasons.
Honoring Mrs. Marbrey as pallbearers will be Randall Vaughn, Ethan Woods, Aden Morgan, Scotty Simpson, Kevin Woods and Guy Emery. Honorary pallbearer will be Cody Earp.
