Presque Isle - Willard Green, 86, passed away at his home on September 30, 2025. Born on July 29, 1939, Willard was a dedicated worker, a loving family member, and an active member of his community.

After graduating from Presque Isle high school Willard went on to Bob Jones University and graduated with a concentration in ministerial studies. Willard was a hardworking individual who managed several stores for over twenty years. He had a passion for his work and took pride in his contributions. Beyond his professional life, Willard was deeply involved in his community. He volunteered in many ways and was a part of the Presque Isle Historical Society, Elks Lodge, and Aroostook Agency on Aging, generously giving his time and energy to his community in different ways.

Willard had a distinctive style and a cheerful personality. Known for his bright fashion decisions, he often incorporated red into most everything he wore. He was creative and had a love for gardening, reflecting his appreciation for beauty and nature.

Willard was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Dollie Green, and his siblings, Joyce Green, Wesley Green, Gideon Green, and Bessie Thornton.

He is survived by his sister, Juanita Bugbee, and several loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery at a later date.

Willard's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
