Willard Salleng Obituary
Willard Dennis Salleng, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 9, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1930, to the late Hillard and Josie Salleng. Willard served in the army and was given a purple heart. Willard is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Ernestine Salleng. Left behind to carry Willard’s love and memories are his children, Marvin Salleng (Tina), and Beverly Phillippe. His fur best friend Cooper, Grandsons, Corey Phillippe and James Phillippe, granddaughter, Christine Salleng. Willard was blessed with 4 great grandchildren, Will Vineyard, Maryam Vineyard, Tasneem Vineyard and Sumayyah Vineyard. He also was blessed with a great-great granddaughter, Zainab Abdulbaqi. Willard enjoyed gardening, bass fishing, and hunting. He was a hard worker in everything he did. Willards favorite activity was that he loved spending time with his family and friends. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 12:00pm. Visitation and funeral will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
