William Harris Algeo, 87, husband of Dorothy Banks Algeo, departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Born on April 6, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, he was a son of the late Thomas William and Margaret Jones Algeo.
Bill was a dedicated professional, serving as a salesman and later president of Kappe Associates, Inc. His knack for leadership and expertise made him an invaluable asset to his team and the community.
Survivors include his beloved wife; his children, Margaret Austin (Alan Austin), Helen Sellman (Bryon Sellman), and William "Ray" Algeo (Natasha Algeo); his step-children, Sheila Yarnell-Ruiz, Amy Daza, and Drew Alcorn; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Bill's family was his pride and joy, and he loved nothing more than sharing moments with them.
In his spare time, Bill found great enjoyment on the golf course, always eager to celebrate at the 19th hole with friends. He also had a passion for boating, spending countless hours on the water, making memories that his loved ones will cherish forever.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, he will be cremated.
Bill spent his later years in Simpsonville, South Carolina, surrounded by family and friends who cherished him dearly. As we remember Bill, let us celebrate his life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable times. He will be deeply missed but always remembered.
