Ingrid Irmgard Algeo

Ingrid Irmgard Algeo, 83, of Powhatan Point, OH passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday August 28, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1942 in Ludwigsburg, Germany to the late Helene (Kaupp) and Karl Schelling.

In addition to her parents, Ingrid was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald P. Algeo; sisters, Gerda Skiba, Trudy Calloway, Irmgard Schelling; and a grandson, Phillip Paul Archer.

Ingrid is survived by her children, Carmen (Robert Meyer) Rhoades, Debra (Phillip) Archer, Regina Hill, Barry Joe (Christy) Hill; grandchildren Jessi (Kurt) Thomas, Bradford Rhoades, Deena (Adam) Perzanowski, Breanna (Travis) Jones, Daniel Archer, Adam Archer, Preston (Kylie) Hampson, Westley Hill, Taylor Jo Hill, Barry Joe (Hailee) Hill III, Bryce (Erika) Sztary, Blaze (Katie Campbell) Dewitt; and great-grandchildren, Emmy, Lindy, Jax, Archer, Roan, Cooper, Maxwell, Gwendolyn, Maddix, Emrie, Lynden, Jovie, Walker Joe and Theo.

Friends and family will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home - 186 Main St. Powhatan Point, OH, on Monday, September 1, from 5 - 7 PM and on Tuesday, September 2, from 10AM until time of service at 11AM. Burial will follow at Powhatan Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Ingrid's name may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Powhatan American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Youth Fund at TMCFunding.com.
