William Arthur Barbato

William A. Barbato, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024.
Born on October 19, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, Bill was the cherished son of John and Marian Barbato (nee Austin). He pursued higher education, earning his bachelor's degree, and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Bill found great joy in coaching football, softball, and basketball, inspiring countless young athletes with his guidance and mentorship.
Beloved husband of Susan Barbato (nee Reinbolt) for 55 years.
Loving father of the late Shannon Butterfield, Ryan Barbato, Ashley Gjorgjeski (Mise), and Linsey Battle (Nick).
Devoted grandfather of Gavin, Gage, Kennedy, Kace, Milo, Hudson, and Grayson.
Dear uncle of Jeffery Barbato and Luke Reinbolt.
Also survived by his loyal canine companion, Kayla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marion Barbato, his brother John Barbato, and his sister Joan Barbato.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7, at 11:30 AM at A.J. Desmond & Sons 2600 Crooks Rd. Troy, (248) 362-2500. Visitation prior to the service will begin at 9:30AM.
Final resting place Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
