William "Billy" Doc Gross, Jr., age 79, of Lafayette, TN, passed away on May 3, 2023. He was born May 10, 1943 to the late William Doc, Sr. and Ethel Trisdale Gross in Gallatin, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Gross; and his sister, Patricia Spangler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Lee Gross; his sons, Dwayne (Jan) Gross and Frank Heath; his daughter, Becky Heath; his grandchildren, Caitlin Heath, Dylan Gross, Addie McDaniel, Chance Gross, Christie Heath, Peightyn Blaisdell, Austin Gross, Anna McDaniel and Frank Heath, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Briley Gross, Tracey Gross, David Gross, Kylie Gross and Valerie Gross; his sister, Wilma Dean Hutson; and his brother, Jerry Gross.
Mr. Gross was retired from Westinghouse as a machine operator.
Funeral services for Mr. Gross will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Graves officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 5th from 4-8PM and again on Saturday, May 6th from 9AM till service time at 11AM at Woodard Funeral Home.
