WILLIAM BLACKWELL
Westminster- William Ricky Blackwell, age 65, husband of Linda Grace Butts Blackwell, passed away Friday, December 5th, 2025 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born January 8th, 1960 in Seneca, South Carolina, he was the son of the late William Grady Blackwell and Myrtis Moore Blackwell of Westminster. He formerly worked at Upstate Forklift as a mechanic and had a great passion for fishing.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years of marriage, Linda Grace Butts Blackwell; his sons, Ricky Alexander Blackwell and Phillip Allen Blackwell of both of Westminster; his daughters, Angela Lynn Seagle (Courtney) of Westminster, and Barbara G. Graham (David) of Seneca; grandchildren, Emily Graham, Allison Silvers, Sierra Silvers, Tyler Silvers, Jacob Silvers, Lizabeth Hoback; and two great grandchildren, Barbara Smith and Dominic Smith; and a brother, Richard Blackwell (Lisa) of Walhalla.
William was preceded in death by his father, his brother, Glenn Blackwell and a grandson, Tanner Silvers.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, December 12th, 2025 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, the family will receive friends following the service.
