William "Willie" Bode III

It's with great sadness we announce the passing of William " Willie" Bode on January 30, 2025 at the age of 68. Life long resident of Metairie, La. He was born on November 14, 1956 to the late Robert Bode and Elizabeth Noonan Bode. He was one of ten children, four of which predeceased him. He was a plumber by trade and a devoted employee of The Turtle Bar & Patio. Willie was known for his kind spirit and helping hand willing to help anyone. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply.
Willie was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his two daughters Tabatha Bode Lawson (Darryl) & Tasha Bode Houston (Thomas); 10 grandchildren: Taiylor, Mykaila, Aiyana, Johnny, Sebastian,Troy, Amarion, Jah'Lil, Zariyah & Jream; 6 great grandchildren: Azalea, Ailani, Nylah, Na'Sir, Amir & Joh'l. He is also survived by brothers: John, Edwin & Walter; his sisters, Martha & Robin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved and admired him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Celebration Church, 3550 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA 70065 on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Family visitation will begin at 9 am with public visitation being held from 10 am to 11 am followed by a service. Online condolences may be offered at www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com.
