William Bottoms Obituary
Mr. William Dean Bottoms 90 of Marietta departed this life October 16, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Bottoms was a native of Forsyth County; Mr. Bottoms retired from Lockeed Martin in 1990 and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Bottoms proudly served in the United States Army having served in the Korean War also he was a member of the local Masonic Lodge. Mr. Bottoms is preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Mabel Pirkle Bottoms and wife Joan Bottoms.
Survivors include son, Dave Bottoms and grandchildren, Jason Bottoms, Alana Geiman, Devon Bottoms, Keira Bottoms as well as several nieces and nephews. Services to honor the life of Mr. William Dean Bottoms will be Tuesday October 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Bottoms officiating interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside services performed by the Veterans Alliance. Visitation will be Monday October 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
