William R. Boyd Jr., age 40, of New Baltimore, passed away peacefully at his home on September 9, 2025. Born on Sunday, March 24, 1985, in Pontiac, Michigan, William was the beloved and only son of William R. Boyd Sr. (Cathy Boyd) and Teresa (Martinez) Boyd. William was the proud and devoted father of Dylan, Isaiah, and Hutchinson. His greatest joy in life was being a father, and he leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and devotion to his three boys. He is also survived by his loving partner, Natalie Fritzinger, who stood faithfully by his side through life's journey. A visionary and entrepreneur, William co-founded Trini's Mexican Carry Out in New Baltimore in 2016, where he poured his heart into building both a business and a place that brought people together. He loved his community deeply and took great pride in serving as President of the Anchor Bay Buccaneers Youth Football Program before his illness. William's love for sports was unmatched-whether cheering on the Detroit Lions, University of Michigan football, or the Detroit Tigers, he embraced every season with passion. He especially loved football and baseball, which he shared with his children, nephews, and friends. William will be deeply missed by his sisters, Danielle and Michelle, with whom he shared a lifelong, unbreakable bond along with half brother Robert Rubenstein (Cathy). Step-sisters, Kimberly (Chris) Hull and Jeannette McLean. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews; Blake Brandon, Stephen and Nathanuel Martin. He held a particularly special role in the lives of his nephews; Eric and Aiden Paul, whom he helped raise with love and guidance. The family is especially grateful to his dear friends Audra Ford, Jamie Payette and the entire Anchor Bay Buccaneers Youth Football community for their unwavering love and support throughout William's journey . His family finds comfort knowing William was met with open arms by his beloved grandmas and his best friend Dylan Lantz and cousin Anthony Beven. A memorial service celebrating William's life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church in New Baltimore with a luncheon following immediately at the New Baltimore Civic Club.
