Mr. William Lee Bradley, age 86, of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, January 13, 2026, at his home in Stroud.
William was born on November 29, 1939, in Harrah, Oklahoma, to George William and Linda Louise (Sweeney) Bradley. He was raised in Harrah, where he attended school and graduated from Harrah High School in 1957. Following graduation, William proudly served his country in the United States Army.
On October 14, 1966, William married Betty Louella Gray in Prague, Oklahoma. He later married Martha Zell Coleman on November 29, 1995, in Stroud, Oklahoma. Both Betty and Martha preceded him in death.
William was employed for many years as an aircraft structural mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Outside of work, he found great enjoyment in traveling throughout Oklahoma and spending time outdoors. His favorite pastimes included driving the Talimena Scenic Drive, hunting in western Oklahoma, fishing in the Deep Fork River, watching OU football, tending his vegetable garden, and—above all—spending time with his family.
A devout Catholic, William attended St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Harrah during his younger years and St. Louis Catholic Church in Stroud later in life. He was also proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
William was preceded in death by his parents, George and Linda Bradley; wife, Betty Louella Bradley; wife, Martha Zell Bradley; siblings, George William “Sonny” Bradley Jr., Edward Bradley, Marie Ross, and Geraldine Roller; grandson, Logan Graves.
He is survived by children, Larry and Diana Newby, Gary and Lori Bradley, Jerry and Melba Bradley, Terry and Robin Bradley, Kenny and Laura Coleman, Larry and Sharon Coleman, and Kathy Bradley Starchman;
Grandchildren, Greg Smith and Andrea Rush, Gary W. Bradley, Dustin Bradley, Weston and Kristi Linder, Tom and Teresa Coppola, Jason and Cheryl Masingale, Kenneth and Heather Livingston, Terry and Stephanie Bradley, Michael Smith, Chad and Faith Beck, Ron and Chelsea McClary;
Great-grandchildren, Lacy Graves, Tony and Kathy Davis, Chris Coppola, Blake Dickinson, Garrett Masingale, Ruby Masingale, Terry Bradley III, Laurel Bradley, Wyatt Linder, Wrenleigh Linder, Skyler Beck, Jacob Beck, Jonathan, Andrew and Thomas; great-great-grandchildren, Oliver Davis, Troy and Blakely as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends.
