William Lewis Brincefield, Jr. was born in Alamance County, North Carolina to William Lewis Brincefield and Pearl Lena Jones Brincefield. Butch as he was more commonly known departed this earthly life on April 10, 2025 while he was being cared for by the staff of AuthoraCare Collective Hospice of Alamance-Caswell. Being reared in Alamance County, Butch attended the segregated school system and was a 1966 graduate of the prestigious Jordan-Sellars High School. Following high school, Butch enrolled at Shaw University and earned a degree in Business Administration in 1970.
Following college Butch ventured to New York and held several supervisory positions within the Restaurant Industry. He genuinely had a knack for assisting others. He valued and enjoyed working within the hospitality industry. He formed many lasting and vibrant relationships that lasted throughout the years. After many years in the Big Apple, Butch retuned home and continued working within the public service industry, where he began working within the restaurant industry. His life and legacy will forever be cherished by those whom he loved and those who loved him.
Loving and lasting memories will be fondly held in the hearts and minds of his brothers: Brenton Delese Brincefield (Gwen) and Ronnie Lee Brincefield; sister-in-law: Doris E. Brincefield as well as several nieces and nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Jerome Edward Brincefield, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Browning Reed, Elder John Ruben Brincefield and Stanley Keith Brincefield.
