I was sadden to hear of Bob's passing. Hie work with the Medical Reserve Corps was ans is instrumental to the preparedness culture of our nation. Many MRC units benefited from his unselfish and sharing attitude. His presence will be missed but his legacy is demonstrated in how prepared we have become thanks to his effort.

My deepest sympathies to Bob's family. He was always so friendly and helpful. I knew him through our connections with Medical Reserve Corps. He always remembered me despite only seeing each other perhaps once a year at a national or regional conference. He worked hard to have MRC volunteers from nearby Wisconsin (where I'm from) involved in the Chicago Marathon. He is greatly missed in the MRC Community.
