William E. "Bill" Brunell

William E. "Bill" Brunell, 88, of Upper Macungie Township, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of Maryann (Rosato) Brunell. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last month. Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late John H. and Eva Mae (Albright) Brunell. Bill was a US Army veteran and served with the 3rd Infantry Division, 35th Transportation Battalion from October 1957 – September 1959. He also served with the US Army Reserves from 1959-1963. Bill was a Good Conduct Medal recipient. He was a Service Manager at Holberts VW in Warrington for 55 years before retiring. Bill enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of his garden. He loved spending time with his family.
Survivors: Wife, Maryann; Sons: William Brunell and his wife Jennifer of Dublin, PA, James and his wife Dawn of Upper Macungie Township; Granddaughters: Erinn, Lauren, Ally, Hannah, Mackenzie; Great-grandsons: Isaiah, John; Brother: Richard Brunell and his wife Dorthalea of Coopersburg; Sister: Helen Guethle of Emmaus; Sister-in-Law: Michele Biser and her husband Mark of Greensboro, NC.
