A former Franklin, KY native, Mr. William V. “Bill” Caudill, age 77, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Signature Healthcare in Portland, TN.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2023 at the funeral home.
Bill was born September 2, 1946, in Franklin, KY to the late William Jackson “Bill” Caudill and the late Margaret Young Caudill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Caudill.
He is survived by his spouse of 42 years, Sandy Caudill; son, Todd Caudill (Katie), of Franklin, KY; 3 grandchildren, Reed Caudill, Jackson Caudill (Kighlee), Shelby Caudill; 1 great-grandson, Cohen Caudill.
Bill attended the Goodlettsville First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School, class of 1964; he also earned his bachelor’s degree in business at Western Kentucky University. He was retired from Nissan Automotive Factory in Smyrna, TN. Bill was a longtime member of Franklin County Club, where he enjoyed playing golf and he had a love for music.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 or to the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
