William Dallas Chambers, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 17, 2025. Born on October 24, 1951, Dallas was a quiet, humble, and loving man who lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.
He owned and operated his own landscaping business and took great pride in working in his yard. Dallas loved playing the piano, watching The Andy Griffith Show, and learning about anything related to computers. He especially cherished going to church with his family. Though private by nature, he was strong-willed, determined, and deeply caring toward those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Laverne Phillips, and his beloved dog, Pokey.
Dallas is survived by his daughter, Stacey Miner (Keven); grandchildren Brandy Busbee (Jesse), Alex Miner (Rebecca), Ansley Busbee (Tyler), Taylor Albert (Eddie), and Tori Weatherly (John); great-grandchildren Ryder, Braxton, Marleigh, Holden, Houston, Emberly, Haislyn, Laiklyn, Khloe, Harper, Riley, Brynleigh, Madison, and Isaac; brother Dennis Chambers (Sherry); niece Donna Barney; and nephew Wayne Chambers.
He will be remembered for his gentle nature, steadfast spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, GA 30014.
