William Connor Obituary
William Connor, Jr., of Somers Point, NJ, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Following a lengthy battle of kidney disease, he passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home at the age of 74. Born October 13, 1950, William grew up in South Philadelphia, where he attended Saint Monica's and graduated from Bishop Neuman High School in 1968. He worked as an Operating Engineer out of Local 825 for 55 years. He worked all over the tri-state area and really enjoyed his job. He was predeceased by his wife, Victoria (Froggett) Connor; and son, William E. Connor III; his brother, Joseph F. Connor; and his parents, William E. Connor, Julia M.(Luning) Connor. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kelly (Dan); his granddaughter, Caitlyn; his siblings, Julia, John, Timothy, Thomas, Patricia, and Robert; along with his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th, from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish: Blessed Sacrament Church, Margate. Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com
