William Paul Corcoran, Jr., Esq.
September 28, 1963 – December 13, 2025
Grief and love stand side by side as we say goodbye to William Paul Corcoran, Jr., Esq., who passed away suddenly on December 13 at his home in
Hatboro, Pennsylvania.
Bill was born in Philadelphia to William Paul Corcoran and Eileen Corcoran (née Kelly). He is survived by his beloved daughter, Susan Victoria Corcoran; his siblings, Eileen Bermingham (Geoffrey), Margaret Corcoran-Magis, Mary Theresa King (the late Jesse), and Christopher George Corcoran (Elena); and by many loving extended family members and dear friends. He is also survived by his long-term companion, Joyce Patterson, who will always cherish the many happy memories they shared together, including their life with their beloved dog, Tilly.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will forever be remembered for his razor-sharp wit and remarkable ability to find humor in any situation.
A graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Class of 1981, Bill briefly attended Berklee College of Music before earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance from La Salle University, an MBA in Business Administration from Drexel University, and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law. He was a practicing attorney and held positions with respected law firms in Center City Philadelphia.
An avid supporter of all Philadelphia sports teams, Bill also enjoyed placing a friendly wager on a game. While he had many interests and talents, his true passion was music. Bill was the playlist of our lives-frequently sharing funny and thoughtful songs and videos that brought beauty, laughter, and unexpected perspective, resonating long after they were shared. He played guitar and keyboard and was a devoted fan of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, who once said, "Music is God's voice." We are certain Bill is now singing for us in the heavenly chorus.
Family and friends are welcome to greet Bill's family on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro PA 18954, a Funeral Service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Musicians Without Borders.
