Obituary of William Ocasio Cordero
William Ocasio Cordero, 77 years old passed away on April 28, 2024. William was born on May 27, 1946, in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico to Herminia Cordero and Luis Ocasio, (both deceased). William moved to New York and served in the United States Army. He was a Black Belt Second Degree in Martial Arts. William joined the GOYA Foods Corporation in New York where he was recognized several times as one of the Top salesmen of the company until his retirement in 2017, after serving 37 years. In 2017, he moved to Palm Bay, FL.
After his retirement, he enjoyed his visits to Dunkin for coffee, cornbread and loved to spend time at the gym. He loved to be surrounded by family, enjoyed talking, giving advice, and supporting family members any way he could. William was known for his sense of humor and positive attitude toward life! He is survived by his partner of 16 years, Carmen Salamanca, Carlos A. Ocasio (son), Zorie Ocasio (daughter), Norie Ocasio (daughter-deceased), and William M. Ocasio (son).
