In Loving Memory of William "Shane" Davis
December 11, 1970 - January 8, 2025
It is with heavy hearts (and a lot of laughter through tears) that we announce the passing of William "Shane" Davis, a truly remarkable man who we now know is with his father Billy Gene Davis, his mother Cornelia Leigh Davis, his sister Tracy Davis and Nephew Nick Boardman.
Shane was a loving Father to Jordan Nichole Nelson, who inherited his sense of humor, showed her how family is always first. He was a grandfather to Raidan and Kash Baez (their father Raymond Baez)Shane's fiancé Tricha Kulbeck Hacker who deserves a medal for putting up with him all these years along with her children Brittany and Reilly Hacker. His first wife and the mother to their child, Melissa Faris. His siblings Lisa Boardman- Slagle, Bobby Boardman, and Gerald Henry Boardman. His Nephew Joshua Brunk.
Shane's humor, even in serious moments, was his way of showing us that life is too short not to laugh. While he wasn't a man of many words (unless the TV remote was missing), his actions spoke volumes. He taught us how to laugh at ourselves. he made life an adventure. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and left us all with stories we'll tell for generations.
A celebration of his life - and his legacy of making us laugh - will be held from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Ched's Bar and Grill. In honor of Shane's, guests are encouraged to come as you are, and bring your best memory or joke - he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
In lieu of flowers, please donate at the celebration of life as proceeds go to the family and simply spend a day making someone laugh just like Shane would- because if he taught us one thing, it's that laughter is the best gift you can give.
Rest in peace, Dad. We'll miss your laugh, your love, and hearing you call me your "DAWG". We hope you're somewhere sunny, with a cigarette in one hand and the remote in the other. The world will be quieter without you, but the love and laughter you gave us will echo forever.
