Teri Vinson

Teri Lou Vinson (Traub), age 62, of Norfolk, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to the late David and Julie Traub, her family later settled in Hampton Roads, where she graduated from Bayside High School. Teri was an insurance agent with Salzburg Insurance Agency and served as Secretary/Treasurer of Ace Sheet Metal Works in Norfolk, VA. She was a longtime member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and faithfully dedicated herself to both adult and children's ministries.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Kevin Allen Vinson; her three children, Kristen Howie (Matt), Anthony Knight (Courtney), and David Mann (Erika); three stepchildren, Hallie Moyes-Matheou (Andrew), Marsee Mickle (Anthony), and Aaron Vinson; her beloved grandchildren, Nikolas, Kaleb, Harley, Maverick, Ryleigh, Anthony, Lillian, Avory, Arabella, Paislee, and Colton; and her three sisters, Tami Kee (Steve), Toby Clark, and Tonya Craig (William).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 23, at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1500 Sewells Point Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502. Following the service, a luncheon will take place at the church so that we may all share in fellowship together.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Teri's honor to Gideons International (www.gideons.org), an organization devoted to providing free Christian Bibles around the world. It was her wish that we all continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
