He is preceded in death by his father Ralph Furman Vinson and brother Ralph Hugh Vinson.
Bogie loved fishing and had a lifelong passion for square dancing. In his younger days, he was well known around the Stompin' Ground in Maggie Valley. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
Bogie is remembered by his mother Ruth Vinson, wife Erika Rogers Vinson, children Megan Vinson (Brandon Clark), Leah Vinson, grandson Tatum Clark, granddaughters Lainey and Karter Clark, sister Stephanie Conner, and many extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Garrett-Hillcrest Cemetery on August 26, 2025, at 5:00 PM, with Robert London speaking,
