William A Dillon
Deerfield - William A Dillon, 66, of Deerfield, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Sitrin Healthcare with his family by his side.
He was born in New Hartford, New York, on October 10, 1957, the son of William A. and Elaine Dillon. He attended Utica schools and graduated from UFA with the class of 1974. Bill served in the United States Air Force and was Honorably Discharged on January 19, 1984. He was at one time married to Nicole Barstow. Bill was employed as a Service Associate for Lowes, N.Utica. He was a dedicated member of Life Point Church, Yorkville. His greatest gift in his life were his children, family, and friends.
Bill is survived by his children, Kyle Dillon, Ashley J. Dillon, and Anna M. Dillon, all of Deerfield, Grant and his wife, Karla Langheinrich, and Stacey Langheinrich, all of Oneida; his sister and brother in law, Amy and Al Gulla of Lakeland, FL; two aunts and one uncle, Jeanne Christopher, and Joanie and Tony Diruzzo, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill is also survived by his three angels, niece Michelle Gulla, Shannon Madore, and Laurie Ruggiero. He was predeceased by two sisters, Deborah Nesci and Mona Schlossman.
His funeral will be held Sunday evening, May 19, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, where a funeral service will be celebrated by Pastor Drew. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 19th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
Bill's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his fellow employees at Lowes, especially Greg Fobare, and the nurses and staff of the Syracuse VA and Sitrin Healthcare for the wonderful care and kindness shown to him and the family during his illness and passing.
