About
William Elam Obituary
Born in Ware Shoals, he was the son of the late John and Alta Elam. Jack graduated in the Class of 1955 from Clemson University and went on to work in textile chemicals. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Elam enjoyed playing golf and Clemson athletics. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and Boscobel Golf and Country Club.
Jack is survived by his children, William Henry Elam, Jr. (Amber) of Cary, NC and Nancy Harvey Elam of Clemson; granddaughters, Kathryn Ann "Kate" Elam and Sarah Grace Elam.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 193 Old Greenville Highway, Clemson, SC 29631 or Clemson University Foundation, Class of 1955, P.O. Box 1889, Clemson, SC 29633-1889.
