William Feehan Obituary

Born in Englewood Hospital and raised in Ridgefield Park, William attended Ridgefield Park High School, where he was known for best athlete, dancer, and eyes. Billy, as he was known, had a charismatic personality that dominated the room.
William was the beloved husband of his wife of 59 years, Jill. He leaves behind his only child, Kimberly Feehan- Ponte and son in law Joe Ponte of Towaco. William was the son of the late William Feehan Sr, and Angelina ( Orecchio) Feehan. He was predeceased by his brothers Edward and Robert Feehan, and sister Christina Haggerty.
William will be remembered for his strong love of his family. Nothing was more important to him than his wife and daughter. He loved dogs, especially his beloved pet Jazzy. He will be remembered for his personality and his zest for life.
Cremation will take place privately. Friends may visit with the family at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00–8:00pm. A funeral service will be held that evening at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 (rbari.org).
