William Fox Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Rachel McPherson Fox, who survives and the son of Clifton C. Fox and Virginia Hope Surratt Fox, both deceased. He was a retired Burlington police officer.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include sister Anita Fox Frazier (husband Doug), children Tracy Furr (husband Steve), Tom Fox (wife Debbie), Tenley McAbee (husband Russ) and Cliff Fox (wife Heather). There are 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Sharon Wheeler with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
