Mr. William Malcolm "Billy" Gillespie, age 75, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence under the care of Regency Southerncare Hospice. The Metter, GA native had lived in Bulloch County for most of his life. Billy worked with Jackson Plumbing, The City of Statesboro and with Clyde Wilson and Gary Futch Plumbing. Billy loved Nascar, all types of music, woodworking and spending time outdoors. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving is his wife of 31 years Dorothy Frost Gillespie; a son John Matthew (Joyce) Frost and a grandson Skyler Matthew Frost all of Statesboro; sisters in law and brothers in law Barbara (Cohen) Kitchens, Diane (Clayton) Bell, Gary and Cindy Frost, Lynette Galicia, Jack Frost, Missy Sanchez, Melissa Cordero and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
