William J. Glumm, 90, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024. Born to Gilbert and Mary Glumm (née Lohr), William was a devoted son and later, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
In 1957, William married the love of his life, Rita Johnson. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and companionship, spanning over six decades. William had a deep passion for swing era music, crossword puzzles, softball, sports, TV, and hunting, which filled his life with joy and adventure.
He will be profoundly missed by his loving wife, Rita; his children, Eric, Kent (Julie), Kris, and Kurt; and his cherished grandchildren, Whitney, Megan, Brooke, and Jacob. William's memory will also be treasured by his many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gilbert "Bud," Louise, Janet, and Robert "Bob."
The visitation for William will be held On Saturday June 22, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 12:00 noon at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188.
William's kindness, humor, and spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His family finds comfort in the legacy of love and the countless beautiful memories he leaves behind.
