William David Hallmark Jr.

William David Hallmark, Jr. of Hockley, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 45. He was born on July 15, 1980, in Houston, Texas to William David Hallmark, Sr. and Kathy Ann Hilton Hallmark. David grew up in Cypress, Texas, and graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1998.

After high school, David worked in several trades, including technology and HVAC, before pursuing higher education. He later attended Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 2010.

David Jr. is preceded in death by his father, William David Hallmark, Sr.; his grandmother, Ruby Hilton Knighten and her husband Don; his uncle, Tommy Hallmark, Sr.; his cousin, Jennifer Hull; and his beloved dog, Tank.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Hallmark; his brother, John Hallmark, Sr., and sister-in-law, Kendra Hallmark; his nieces and nephew, Samantha Barnett and her husband Dalton Barnett, Sarina Hallmark, and John Hallmark, Jr.; his cherished dogs, Daisy and Chloe; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Known as "David Jr." to his family and "Dave" to his friends, he will always be remembered for his deep love for his family and pups, his witty sense of humor, and his ever-growing collections of tools, sunglasses, and Nikes.

He will be dearly missed, but the sweet memories of the love that made us family will carry us through.
