William Hart Obituary
William Alfred Hart, 64, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Baptist Health in Lexington.
He was born April 9, 1959 in Somerset; son of the late Willie & Frances (Thurman) Hart. He worked as a truck driver for Johansen's Transport in Massachusetts. He was a member of the Union Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Captain Vicki L. Johnson Hart, US Army; two sons, Kris Tyler Johnson of Williamsburg and Shawn Tyler Johnson of Somerset; two daughters, Heather Hart of Somerset and Ashley Hart of Winchester; two special aunts, Grace Hougland of Indianapolis and Hazel Dick of Science Hill; four grandchildren, Hallie Jo, Katrina, Shawn II, and Wyatt; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Hoskins officiating.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
