I first met Bill during our police training days at the Kern County Regional Criminal Justice Training Center at Bakersfield College (1985-1992). Bill made friends easily and shared his wealth of knowledge and experience unsparingly.

When he joined us in the Criminal Justice Department as an instructor, our students always spoke highly of his approach to teaching and learning.

When he joined the full-time faculty at Porterville College, we missed his presence, but we also knew that Bill would be touching many lives in the second career that lay before him. We certainly called that one correctly. President Bill Henry...what a guy!

You will be missed by everyone who knew you, Bill!

I worked with Bill for nine years at Porterville College. He taught me so much about academic affairs and instruction in higher education. My boys always enjoyed seeing "Mr. Bill". He often let them eat the jelly beans in his office. We all will truly miss Bill!

My friend for 52 yrs. Before he went into ICU I was able to visit him twice. We had such a wonderful talk. As I left we both said "I Love You" I will cherish that moment forever.
