William "Bill" Edward Johnson, 84, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home in Horn Lake, MS, surrounded by his family. No services are planned at this time. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
Bill was known for his love of working on his home and cars. He could repair just about anything and had a natural mechanical mind. He enjoyed watching sports, visiting the casino, and never met a stranger. Bill was also a member of Compel Church.
Bill is survived by his wife, Onnis Mae Johnson of Horn Lake; children, Nancy Lynn Cathey of Franklin, AL, and Connie Frances Mullikin and her husband Randy of Arlington, TN; four grandsons; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter; and his siblings, Shirley Ludolf and Lana Susan Gay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Marie Frances White Johnson; and his siblings, Marianne Perkins and Jimmy Wayne Johnson.
